Cleveland Metroparks Zoo announces birth of female black rhino-it’s a girl!

Born on August 17, 2010 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, this is baby is Inge’s fourth female calf. In this video below, animal keeper Alisa Sandor shows us that weighing a baby rhino isn’t as easy as you might think.

This is a REALLY fun, cute video to watch! It’s amazing to me that the mother black rhinoceros is in such close and open proximity with the animal keeper and lets her play with her calf.
