Spending time in nature makes you feel more energetic and vibrant, according to a new study. With our children’s picture books and movies, we know that it’s important to get kids outdoors in nature and this new study proves it.

The experiments are published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology and involved over 500 students, according to the article “A daily dose of nature significantly boosts feelings of vitality, researchers find“. The most significant findings were that being outside in nature for 20 minutes a day was enough to boost feelings of vitality

It’s good information to know as we promote to children and adults the importance of spending time in nature.
