A reward is being offered in a bald eagle shooting. Michigan natural resources officials are looking for help to solve the fatal shooting of a mature bald eagle in Otsego County in northeast lower Michigan, according to the article “Reward offered in bald eagle shooting“ in the Traverse City Record Eagle.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are offering a reward for information on the bald eagle shooting that took place near Johannesburg in late Decemeber.
If you have information about the bald eagle shooting, contact the DNR’s poaching hotline at 1-800-292-7800 or the DNR center in Gaylord at (989) 732-3541. Information can be left anonymously.
