A moose and calf in Shady Nook, Alberta are fortunate. The cow, who has an injured leg, and her calf are enjoying fruits and vegetables thanks to kind neighbors. Watch the heartfelt video above.

In the article “Moose, calf at home in Shady Nook” in the Red Deer Advocate, land owner Mike Haustein said the pair seemed to be in trouble when he first saw them.

According to the article, the cow had a grapefruit-size swelling on her leg and could barely stand on it.
