I found the article “On this farm, donkey keeps coyotes at bay” in the DailyComet.com fascinating.

Isabel, a donkey, is used for coyote control to protect cattle at the W-4 farm in Schriever, Louisiana.

“It (Isabel) can kick and bite,” said John Walther in the article. Walther is an owner of the farm and a biologist with the Department of Agriculture and Forestry. In the article Walter adds “You can see, she’s a muscular little beast.”
