According to a the story, “A dog’s job: studying moose in the Adirondacks”, on North Country Public Radio in Canton, New York, wildlife biologists say that New York state is home to more than 500 moose.

Researchers want to learn more about the moose and why their numbers are growing so rapidly.

A new project by the Wildlife Conservation Society is using trained tracking dogs to learn more about these moose. Learn more
