Michael Glenn Monroe is a good friend of ours at Carl R. Sams II Photography. An award winning wildlife artist, he illustrates children’s books and speaks to children nationwide about wildlife, conservation and never giving up on your dreams.

Michael’s book A Wish to be a Christmas Tree is a holiday favorite. It’s been read on television by Katie Couric and Mitch Albom.

In 2002 Michael Monroe was chosen to paint the official Easter Egg of Michigan which represented the state in a White House display.

He was chosen to paint the 2007 Holiday for the White House and the Friends and Family Christmas bulb personally given away by the President and Mrs. Bush. Learn more about Michael Monroe
